Denture Stabilisation

Stabilisation of loose dentures could dramatically improve your quality of life

if:

  • you have fear of eating, smiling and even trouble speaking clearly

  • you are tired of the taste and feel of messy denture adhesives

  • your denture is covering your palate reducing your taste for food

Denture stabilisation with MINI-IMPLANTS is the ultimate solution for you

The procedure is:

SAFE - tens of thousands of denture wearing patients around the globe have been pleased with the result since the early 1980's. Your denture feels secure and is being held firmly in place. You will be in safe hands since our principal dentist Martin already placed his first implant in 1999.

QUICK - with modern implant techniques, dentures are stabilised. Visit your dentist in the morning, have the "mini implant system" placed in 1 hour, then go and enjoy your favourite dinner the same day.

AFFORDABLE - MINI-IMPLANTS are far more cost-effective / affordable to stabilise your denture than conventional dental implants

Finance options available, ask our treatment co-ordinator Una for your free consultation.

Eat comfortably, have pleasant conversation, laugh and talk with confidence.

A bit more about Dentures

Dental dentures or false teeth are the traditional way of replacing missing teeth. An affordable option to gain back your smile and your confidence.

Dentures are a removable appliance that is fitted over the gums and jawbone made of acrylic, nylon, and metal to replace teeth and will help you eat, speak and smile without embarrassment. Dentures also will protect the remaining natural teeth from changing position.

There are two types of dentures:

  • Partial dentures which are used for a patient who lost a tooth or a few teeth.

  • Complete dentures which replace all your upper or lower teeth.

The pros of choosing dentures

  • Dentures are an affordable solution to replace missing teeth

  • Dentures are a minimally invasive dental treatment because most of the times there is no need for a surgical operation

The cons of choosing dentures

  • Dentures, even nowadays, don’t look natural.

  • Dentures must be removed and carefully cleaned

  • People who wear dentures often face the problem of slippage. Sometimes dentures slip causing problems to speak or eat.

  • At first, when you start wearing dentures, you should have a certain diet. You can eat soft food and you have to avoid any sticky or hard food.

  • After wearing dentures for a long time the jawbone and gums start to shrink and the dentures must be relined.

An alternative solution to the traditionally made dentures is the implant retained dentures.

With the implant retained dentures, partial or complete, most of the problems of the traditional dentures can be eliminated. Implant retained dentures are supported on dental implants

  • Dentures are supported and secured on dental implants, which means that the problem of slipping is less often.

  • The jawbone is stimulated by the dental implants and it doesn’t lose its density and strength.
